After becoming mortally wounded during a routine boar hunt Eyvind, the crown prince of Carron, unwittingly changed the paths and destinies of plotting nations.

As he lay dying, a chance encounter with Roni, a mythical healer from the hidden land of Imen-Hera sets the wheels of this transformation in motion. In tending to Eyvind’s wounds, Roni becomes seized by curiosity and finds herself violating a cardinal rule of her land, which carries the grim punishment of banishment landing her in the clutches of extreme danger by an ogre, lusting for gold, who has witnessed her miracles and seeks to entrap her through his crude knowledge of sorcery.

While neighboring nations forge alliances veiled in deceit to grab power, gold and control by any means possible, Roni’s predicament continues to set off different chains of events as she runs for her life through a maze of unknown lands rife with danger at every turn.
