Meet ASIFA
Asifa works as a maid for a school and 2 private homes making a total of $100 a month. She has 2 girls and 2 boys. The eldest daughter is 15 and is diabetic, requiring insulin on a regular basis.
Asifa cannot afford to send her kids to school, and her husband is not in the picture.Â
In June 2022 her home burnt badly due to an electric shortage. Clothing, bedding and household items burnt in their one room home.
She goes to neighbors asking for any help they can spare, but everyone is poor in this town and she is lucky to have enough money for food and insulin.
She is happy to work if she can find it. Government and local officials are unable to help.
With your assistance, The Southgate Foundation can help Asifa and his family.Â
