She starts right out of the gate with some great advice on creating a fair exchange of value — and figuring out a problem she could solve.
Shrinkage. how funny is that? Did you ever experience something like that in your business? And if there is food involved, I’m calling it, “eat-age” lol
I noticed also, right out the gate, that May really focused on her purpose line very early in her life. . . I see this throughout all of her successful businesses. – She found her purpose at the age of 12. … When can you say you really found her purpose?
What did you do in your youth that you spent and hours and hours doing because you loved doing it? …May found her purpose along that line.
I used to take old watches apart and find all the jewels in them. haha…I don’t do anything. Like that now, but that is something I can do every day for fun. I wonder if there is any money in that…
Do you “job shadow” anyone because you just love what they do?
Did you dig out your pad of paper yet that May advised in the first 9 minutes to write down what you loved to do as a kid? That’s question 1.
Question 2. What do other people say you are good at doing?
Have you made a list of that yet?
Question 3. What do you think that you are really good at, and what do you really enjoy doing?
Any common words, phrases or ideas in all three? . . .
Follow the rest of the instructions that May brings up starting around 10 minutes.
Good book reference on Start with Why by Simon Sinek.
Did you zone into Kellogg’s why. Interesting. Sounds great, right?
Do you measure your purpose against your goal (your vision)?
Does your business purpose align with your personal life’s purpose?
Have you worked out your Vision in alignment with your Purpose?
The May’s book is incredible. I highly recommend you get it and hunker down and zone into it and apply it.
I like the morning Gratitude Meeting followed by the Gratitude Letter. Make notes of that?.
