Show Notes

Lindsey comes from humble beginnings. She grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania “where there were more cows than people.” Her youth was filled with outdoor activities, from sports to hiking to quad riding and beyond—nature and the open air was (and still is) her sanctuary.

At 12 years old, she was scouted for modeling, but she tabled the offer until she was in college. She then found herself in New York and was quickly signed to a modeling agency, which gave her the opportunity to travel and explore new cultures and environments.

Living the best of both worlds, this country girl living the big city life is now taking her love for nature and adventure and channeling it into environmental activism that benefits the planet and its people.

Takeaways

Lindsey shares with us her journey towards success. Envisioning who you want to be and where you want to go is crucial. She states, “the more you see it in your mind, the more likely it will come to fruition” and that “you can predict the future if you will it to happen.”

For those who desire to make a difference but don’t know where to start, she tells us to believe in our capabilities, open ourselves to education and inspiration, and get involved locally. Together, we can do more to raise awareness and work towards beneficial outcomes for the planet. Giving back and offering a helping hand will always reflect positivity back to you, and you will find more opportunities to grow in your personal life and thrive in business.

For budding entrepreneurs, she advises starting your business on the right foot with the environment in mind. With a more energy-conscious business and by taking small steps towards eco-friendly practices, you’ll enjoy more profit, longevity, and success down the road.

Her advice for business owners further includes knowing your audience. Learn to show empathy—interact, understand, relate, and connect with others, and you’ll discover more success for your business.

Knowing your brand, knowing how to represent yourself, and knowing how you want others to perceive you is also vital. It will help you overcome obstacles and step outside your comfort zone, even when you have uncertainties and doubts.

She shares, “your passion is more powerful than your doubt,” and you are an “unstoppable force, just like mother nature is.”
