Frank may not look like it, but he is a cornfed country boy from Indiana, the oldest among six children. His father worked in a bank, meanwhile, his mother worked in school as a teacher. They lived on a farm in the small town in Indiana.
He had a troubled youth, went to four high schools in four years, and spent seven different instances in juvenile detention. Afterwards, when he was 18 years old, he had an opportunity to take out an eraser and turn around the chalkboard of life. He had a chance to erase his very troubled youth and upbringing.
Hurriedly, he got on a plane with a one-way plane ticket costing $50, and everything that he owned in a duffle bag on his shoulder. He took a one-way flight from Indiana to Palm beach.
When he landed in Palm beach, there was a television program called Lifestyle of The Rich and Famous. For the young people who are listening, it would be similar to MTV Cribs. As he landed in Palm beach, he became intoxicated by the country’s lifestyle.
He couldn’t believe how people were driving around and the way they were dressed. Frank badly wanted a piece of it, but he did not know how. He was uneducated. He had 1.8 GPA at high school. For him, there was no hope of even going to community college.
Later, he got a job digging sand traps as a maintenance worker on a golf course and was able to earn a hundred bucks a week. He was around affluence, people who can play golf or afford to play golf all day. That fascinated him.
He noticed that those who were playing golf in the morning were also playing tennis in afternoon. So, he moved from the golf course to the tennis court.
He was a very good tennis player as a young boy, so he decided to become a tennis pro and pick up the racket again and started his own company called Professional Tennis Service.
There, he began teaching and mentoring others on tennis, teaching how to hit a better forehand and backhand. For 2 years, he went to the school of the wealthy. There, they paid him for an hour’s worth of tennis lessons.
But, he made sure that they couldn’t finish that tennis lesson after 45mins, due to tiredness, where he would pick their brains in the final 15 minutes… Listen in to learn more….
