For a long time, I still thought I was only working on individual songs.

Even after You Are The Highest was completed, there was no larger plan in mind. I simply continued following new ideas as they appeared, one at a time, never expecting they would eventually become connected to something bigger.

Some songs came quickly. Others took repeated revisions and long stretches of refining before they finally felt complete. Certain melodies changed direction entirely from where they originally began. A few songs went through multiple arrangements before settling into their final form.

At the center of it all was a desire to create music that felt sincere — songs built around reflection, faith, hope, gratitude, and perseverance.

As the months passed, the collection quietly continued to grow.

One of the later songs to take shape was Blow The Trumpet. Even after most of the arrangement was already finished, the production continued evolving back and forth, especially around the trumpet sections and overall intensity of the track. At one stage, another completed song, Be Ye Content, could have been included instead. But Blow The Trumpet continued developing and ultimately earned its place within the final sequence of songs.

By this point, something unexpected had happened.

Without planning it, there were now twelve completed tracks.

That realization felt surreal to me because creating a full album had never been the goal. In fact, the idea had never seriously crossed my mind when this journey first began. The focus had only been on finishing one meaningful song at a time and trying to do it well.

But eventually the suggestion became unavoidable:

“This should be released as an album.”

What surprised me most was realizing how different each song felt emotionally while still somehow belonging to the same larger journey. Some songs were quiet and reflective. Others carried more scale and intensity. But underneath the arrangements and production choices, the themes remained remarkably connected.

Again and again, the songs kept returning to the same ideas:
faith during uncertainty,
gratitude during hardship,
humility instead of pride,
and hope even when circumstances feel impossible.

At some point, I stopped viewing the songs individually and began hearing them as conversations with one another. Certain tracks balanced others emotionally. Some answered questions raised elsewhere in the album. Even the pacing between quieter songs and larger cinematic moments began to feel intentional without ever being carefully planned that way from the beginning.

That was probably the first moment I understood this project had quietly become something much larger than I originally imagined.

Looking back now, I can see that the songs naturally belonged together. Even though each track carries its own personality and message, they were all connected by the same underlying themes — humility, faith, purpose, struggle, hope, and gratitude.

At some point, the project stopped feeling like isolated songs and started feeling like a complete body of work.

That was the moment the album truly began to exist.
