Something unexpected happened this week.

In God We Trust moved from #4 to #1 on the Hotdisc country chart in Europe.

When the project first began, there were no discussions about charts, radio placement, or industry rankings. In fact, when the earliest songs were being developed, there was still no thought of creating an album at all. The entire journey started quietly with one song, one idea, and a desire to simply follow the creative process wherever it led.

That is part of what made this moment feel so surreal.

Watching a song that grew out of months of private writing, revising, arranging, and refining eventually reach listeners internationally was something I never anticipated when this process first started.

What makes the experience especially meaningful to me is not the chart position itself, but the response from listeners. Over the past several months, I have heard from people who connected deeply with the themes inside the song — faith, perseverance, humility, hope, and trust during uncertain times. Those responses have carried far more personal weight than numbers alone ever could.

At the same time, seeing the song gain recognition through radio and international chart movement has been both humbling and encouraging. It reminds me that creative work often grows in ways we cannot fully predict while we are still building it.

One of the things I continue to reflect on is how naturally this entire journey unfolded over time. The songs developed gradually, often changing shape repeatedly before settling into their final forms. Even the album itself emerged unexpectedly from what originally began as a single song and a quiet creative process.

And yet somehow, one song eventually led to twelve.

Looking back now, In God We Trust seems to have become one of the emotional anchors of the entire collection. While the album later evolved into TRUST, the title song remains deeply connected to the spirit and message that shaped the project from the beginning.
Most of all, I remain grateful.

Grateful for the listeners.
Grateful for the support.
And grateful that music created quietly and sincerely can still find its way into people’s lives around the world.
