Several months after the album was released, the project received unexpected coverage in the Del Norte Triplicate, the local newspaper serving Del Norte County.

The article reflected on how the music developed over time, beginning quietly with a single song and eventually growing into a full twelve-track album. It also explored the creative process behind the project and the way the songs gradually evolved from personal ideas into completed recordings shared publicly online and across streaming platforms.

For me, the newspaper feature carried a different kind of meaning than charts or streaming numbers.

There is something unique about seeing a creative project documented in print — especially something that was never originally planned as a public musical journey in the first place. The article captured not only the release of the album itself, but also the unexpected path that led there.

At the center of the story was In God We Trust, which by that point had already begun gaining attention internationally and had reached #4 on the Hotdisc country chart in Europe. Seeing that response unfold from something that began so quietly remained difficult for me to fully process.

The article also reflected on how organically the project developed over time. None of the songs were created from a formal blueprint or commercial strategy. Instead, the music evolved gradually through repeated refinement, eventually forming a connected body of work built around themes of faith, perseverance, humility, gratitude, and hope.
